Kempegowda Museum is housed in the Mayo Hall, on M G Road, Bengaluru. The museum is a tribute to Kempegowda I, the founder of Bengaluru. Kempegowda museum was inaugurated on 7th April, 2011 and is being maintained by BBMP. The gallery has a statue of Kempegowda I, Bengaluru map and a wealth of historical information about the Yelahanka dynasty, forts, temples, tanks, watch towers, markets etc. Ground floor is under renovation to host artefacts and inscriptions.  Read more about Kempegowda Museum...
