Lalbagh Republic Day flower show 2023 was inaugurated by Hon. CM Basavaraj Bommai on 20th January. The theme this year is the history of Bengaluru. The main attractions were replicas of various iconic monuments in the city: Kempegowda Towers, Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace, Attara Kacheri, Mud Fort, Avenue Road, Vijayanagar Kingdom etc. Flower cascade of chrysanthemum flowers, vertical garden and portraits of the historic rulers were crowd pullers. The flower show would end on 30th January. Entry tickets would cost Rs.70 on weekdays, Rs. 75 on weekends for adults; Rs.30 on all days for children below 12 years.
