We had emailed to the candidates of AAP, BJP, Congress and JD(S) for Bangalore Rural constituency, about the pathetic condition of Neeladri Road and lack of civic amenities in the residential areas of Electronic City and asked them what they can do about it, if elected. Only Mr.P.Muniraju ( BJP) had responded that his first step would be to provide the basic requirements: water, electricity, road, drainage, garbage disposal system etc. The other candidates are yet to respond...

Know your Karnataka

Karnataka Folk MuseumJanapada Loka ( Folk Arts World) is an institution dedicated to the rural folk culture of Karnataka. It is also called: the Karnataka Folk Museum. It houses a range of rural artifacts depicting the essence of folk literature, music, dance, festivals, sculpture and lifestyle. The museum is located in Ramanagara district on the Bangalore-Mysore highway, 53 km from the Bangalore city. Folk cultural shows are arranged on the last Sunday of every month in the amphi theatre.
